Built in 1725 in stone and red bricks, still visible on the east side, covered with a Mansard roof on a beautiful frame, located in the recess of a vast courtyard, this house is called "Le Château". It was a farm of the Custines, lords of Guermange. The adjoining barn, with its high framework, has kept its red brick facings.
The interior of this house, which is currently being restored, is distinguished by its half-timbered partitions and its French ceilings on the first floor.
The house and the barn are now listed in the Inventaire Supplémentaire des Monuments Historiques. Free guided tour on reservation only within the limit of 4 persons.
