In addition, from the holiday apartment you can easily visit all of the famous Loire Valley sites (such as Tours and Amboise that are 10-15 mins away, as well as Chenonceau, Vouvray and Le Clos Lucé). For those who enjoy bike riding, the gîte is ideally situated near the "Loire à Vélo" route that follows the banks of the Royal River.
