The Mayet family was in the XVIth century a family of cathedral builders in the center of France.
They settled in South-West in 1852 on agricultural lands where they do polyculture.
In 1971, the first bottles of the Domaine du Bois de Pourquié were made and now the family exploitation is producing only wine, on a 30-ha surface.
