La familia Mayet fue una familia de constructores de catedrales en el siglo XVI en el centro de Francia.
Se instalaron en el sur oeste en 1852, en tierras agrícolas en las que se practica el policultivo.
En 1971, las primeras botellas del Domaine du Bois de Pourquié fueron producidas y ahora la explotación familiar produce únicamente vino, sobre una superficie de 30 ha.
