The Saint-Martin church was built by architect Léon-Henry Couty following a subscription launched in 1872. Work began in 1902, and the date on the choir mosaic is that of the church's consecration on April 28, 1904. Two other projects had previously been drawn up by architects Racine of Charleville and Thion of Paris, but they were not retained. The old church had a Romanesque nave and tower, and a choir bearing the date 1469. It was burnt down by the Bavarians during the Battle of Bazeilles in 1870.The west-facing church of Saint-Martin, located in the center of the village, has an elongated plan with a three-vessel nave and six bays. The west aisle features an organ loft and two spiral staircases, while a free-standing bell tower is attached. The choir has a straight bay, a three-sided apse and an adjoining sacristy. The limestone rubble edifice features arcades, a false triforium, geminated bays and oculi. The nave is covered with domes, the choir with a ribbed vault. The whole is covered in slate, with roofs varying from one part to another.
