This Burgundian curtain wall dates from the 15th century .
This curtain wall, a historical monument, connected the abbey of Saint Winoc to the rest of the city , also to guarantee the safety of the monks.
The high wall, reinforced with three towers , was reinforced and filled with earth during the reign of Emperor Charles V , adapted to the anti-aircraft guns and then completed in the 17th century by Vauban with the crescent of the Jesuits.
