The labyrinth, created in the 1990s on the Place de l'Évêché, is a medieval-style labyrinth – a labyrinth-tile pattern on the floor of the square, intended as a meditation path or symbolic walk.
Like cathedral labyrinths, it symbolizes spiritual journeys – turning inward, moments of reflection .
It is inspired by the labyrinths of Sens, Auxerre and Chartrers. Its diameter is 7.6 metres , with 11 circuits (ring paths) in a typical circular layout that has a total length of 142.4 metres.
