In 1909 , this permanent kiosk building in reinforced concrete with cast iron elements was placed, replacing the wooden version that was beginning to weather. The building is in art nouveau style with graceful lines, wrought iron details and a round canopy.
Since the end of the 19th century, the Cours Honoré-Cresp has served as an urban promenade with regular concerts by military brass bands and Sunday performances. In the 1920s and 1930s, there were regular performances by regional brass bands and singing societies.
The original kiosk was located on the “square du Clavecin” in front of the Fragonard monument, but was moved in 1908 to the esplanade next to the stairs leading to the Palais
