Beautiful route with lovely expansive views. Rolling landscape, sunflower fields, and the mountains in the background. (including Mont Aiguille) Most of the elevation gain is in the first 25 km. After climbing the Col de Mens, the highest point is reached. Then there are many descents and a few shorter climbs. Hardly any traffic on the route. Delightfully peaceful.
