Relive the epic adventure of the famous Bol d'Or critérium of Monédières as you take on the circuit that made this unique race renowned!
Created by the accordionist Jean Ségurel in the early 1950s, the critérium took place after the Tour de France. The circuit, about twenty kilometers long, was to be completed seven times around the village of Chaumeil. Will you dare to do the 7 laps?
It is in Chaumeil that your race begins, in a surprising setting with omnipresent vegetation representative of the Monédières: heathers, gorses, and broom.
Before crossing the Col du Bois, take a little detour and head for the conquest of Suc au May at 908 meters altitude! The orientation table allows you to contemplate a magnificent panorama where the Limousin Mountain and the Millevaches plateau coexist.
