D) From the Tourist Office, leave the Marbot square by heading left up General de Gaulle Avenue.
1) At the village exit, on your left is the St Prime-St Félicien fountain, the two patron saints of the town. A little further on your right, at the Europe square, you will have a magnificent panorama of the Dordogne and the Chapelle des Pénitents.
2) In front of the restaurant "l’Abri du Moulin," turn right at the crossroads towards Argentat.
3) Take the first road on the left towards "Battut," then a little further on, turn right again. During this short ascent, enjoy a magnificent viewpoint of the Dordogne and the Battut dam, and to the right on the heights, a view of Château de Chauvac. At the "patte d’oie," go right.
4) A little further on, turn right. On your right, you can see Château de la Grèze. You are entering the area known as "Le Causse." Continue straight until the next crossroads, where you will turn right towards "Chirac." A little further on your left is "le Domaine de Chirac," which you can visit.
5) At the crossroads, turn right, then at the "patte d’oie," turn left towards "Champeau." After 1 km of climbing (punctuated with beautiful views of the slopes), you finally arrive at "Champeau," where a lovely shaded descent awaits you. Stop occasionally to admire the magnificent views of the Dordogne valley and Brivezac!
6) At the crossroads, turn right towards "Brivezac," then once again to the right, and you finally arrive at "Brivezac." Turn left onto the main road. The church is on your right. Opposite, a small street leads to the Pavillon de Jeanne d’Albret (16th century - private). Continue on the main road and turn right onto the bridge to cross the Dordogne towards "Reygades." After the bridge, turn right.
7) You can also take a picnic break at "l’aire naturelle de la Champagne." Then, take the next right road, which runs alongside the Dordogne, and turn right towards "Vaurs." Turn right to join the D116 then at the crossroads turn right to reach Beaulieu. Finally, turn right to cross the Beaulieu bridge.
