Go up the street passing by the developed wetland area and then turn right onto "Rue de la République." In this main street, pass the town hall and in front of the birthplace of the writer René Daumal (1908-1944). After 150m, turn left. Continue up the street passing by the church and the René Daumal school complex. Turn right to take the grassy trail (marker 4/22) then left towards the orchards and the forest. Keep going straight for 750m to follow the path leading to "Bois d’Enelle." Before the hill, a bench offers you a view of Boulzicourt. The rest of your route will allow you to discover beautiful views of the Vence valley and the surrounding villages. At the intersection, turn left and go up the wooded path. At the next crossing located 650m further, turn right (marker 8/22) onto a slightly steeper path before turning left to find a paved road. Continue straight then, after the forest house, turn left and then immediately right into the woods to take a winding path among the spruces, the highlight of the walk. Join the drivable road. At the intersection, turn left and descend the path on this 1km stretch. Continue in the undergrowth then turn right at the crossing (marker 16/22). You will be able to see the isolated "Eva's farm" at the bottom of the valley. Then turn left (marker 19/22) to return to Boulzicourt via the forest path. Continue straight for 850m then, at the intersection, go down to the right and follow the meadows, this time with a view of Charleville-Mézières and the Vence valley. Turn left onto the grassy path that will take you near the chapel of Saint-Walfroy. Then go behind the cemetery and return to your starting point.
