Discover all benefitsThis trail number 27 takes you through the Ardennes orchards, particularly those of the Tourteronnais region. The production of apples, pears, and other fruits can be found here!! Starting from Guincourt, visit the Tourteronnais, whose orchards have made this area famous. In the rolling hills of the Préardennaises, discover the beauty of these fruit trees and the landscapes shaped by this cultivation. A piece of advice: stop by the producers and taste the pleasure of the fruits.
At the starting sign located near the washhouse, cross the bridge towards the church and then take the path to the right of it.
Once on the flat, to your right, a stone cross commemorates the Great War.
This cross is called the Pinta cross, dedicated to Sergeant Paul Pinta and his comrades from the 336th Infantry Regiment.
Then descend towards "the woods of Mont des Boeufs".
At the intersection, turn right and follow this wood (marker 4/16).
Continue straight for 2.3 km until you reach the village of Tourteron.
At the junction "Chemin des Corelles", proceed straight ahead and then go up towards the church.
Descend the main street and pass in front of the Tourteron hall.
Turn right (marker 10/16) behind it to take a lower passage. When you reach the washhouse, continue straight to join the road.
Turn right to cross the two bridges.
After that, turn immediately right and continue in the Saint Lambert valley.
At the crossing of trails number 28 and number 30, turn left to head up towards the Aisements.
During this ascent, a stream of clear water flows from a small basin located under a cluster of trees.
This is an old washhouse called “the fountain of Misfortunes”.
Then ascend to the “Les Vergers” junction.
A vast horizon allows you to see the wind turbines of Mazagran, the dehydration factory of Pauvre, as well as closer hamlets such as Les Perchets, Les Aisements, or Le Pré boulet…
Then turn right to reach the hamlet “Hurtebise”.
In this hamlet, turn immediately right (marker 15/16) and pass near the water tower.
Descend towards Guincourt, which can be seen below, 1 km away.
In the village, turn right to return to your starting point.
