Description by the author

Discover the panoramic viewpoint from the top of the Dames de Meuse rocks, then go back down via a wide path with beautiful views of the Petite and Grande Commune valleys. 1/ From the level crossing, take the street that goes up, cross the D 1, and continue straight until the summit. At the water tower, take the second path on the right. Ignore a path on the right and climb to the ridge where the slope becomes less steep. Continue until the access ladder to the game park. > It is possible to reach the viewpoint of the Dames de Meuse by branching off to the right on a narrow and steep path but with other viewpoints. 2/ Pass to the other side of the fence and follow it until a second ladder, at the level of the viewpoint of the Dames de Meuse. 3/ Return to the entrance of the park. 2/ Follow the path on the right that runs along the fence, outside the park, until the high-voltage line. 4/ Descend to Laifour by the wide path (viewpoints). Emerge onto the D 1 at the entrance of Madagascar; take the road to the right for 20 m. 5/ Turn left onto the lower road then follow the path that runs alongside the railway to regain the station. Route extracted from the topoguide Les Ardennes à pied, 2017.
