Cycling loop starting from Col de La Schlucht

Starting from the Schlucht Pass, head towards Gérardmer / La Bresse, then turn immediately left onto the Crêtes road, direction Hohneck. Enjoy the open landscapes of the Hautes Vosges and take a break at the Haut Chitelet Alpine Garden, renowned for its mountain flora.

A little further on, climb Hohneck in a round trip and admire the 360° panorama from the orientation table at 1363 m altitude. Resume the Crêtes road, then turn right 200m before the Auberge de Breitzhousen to take the Hautes Chaumes road.

Begin the descent to Lake Blanchemer, then continue to the Vologne road. Turn right towards the La Bresse-Hohneck alpine ski area, climb up to the Col des Feignes, then continue straight on your ascent to Collet to join the D417. Turn right to return to the Schlucht Pass, the starting point of the loop.

A short but sporty loop, ideal for an intense bike ride, offering a complete immersion on the Crêtes road, between panoramas, peaks, and alpine lakes.
