Description by the author

This route winds its way through the heart of the mountain, a terrain conducive to specific physical preparation. From the center of Saulcy-sur-Meurthe, you take the time to warm up on flat ground before tackling the Béhouille (a section with an incline over 10%) which leads you to the Mandray pass. You recover over about ten kilometers until you reach the foot of the col des Arrentès, linking Corcieux to Granges-sur-Vologne, gradually reaching the Champdray plateau.
Arriving at an altitude of 730 meters, you are halfway through, take the time to catch your breath while admiring the magnificent panorama. You continue on the D50 until the gates of Bruyères. This stretch of road, about 25 kilometers with a descending profile, allows you to quickly reach Brouvelieures along Le Buttant.
After a few kilometers, you leave the D50, head towards Mortagne, then the col de Noirmont via the forest road* of Rouges-Eaux. You then descend towards Taintrux to the south of the Kemberg massif and then tackle the bump of the Fosse, the last difficulty of the loop.
* private road managed by the ONF, normally reserved for forestry operations.
