About ten kilometers from the town of Lure lies the peaceful village of Arpenans, which occupies a hilly and wooded area below Mount Gédry (416 meters), the highest point of the municipality. The church is the starting point of a two-kilometer walk to reach this hill that offers a magnificent viewpoint of the first foothills of the Vosges Mountains!
