A una decina di chilometri dalla città di Lure si trova il tranquillo villaggio di Arpenans, che occupa uno spazio collinare e boscoso sotto il Monte Gédry (416 metri), punto culminante del comune. La chiesa è il punto di partenza per una passeggiata di due chilometri per raggiungere questa collina che offre una vista magnifico sui primi contrafforti del Massiccio delle Vosgi!
