Description by the author

A marvellous route through one of the nicest regions in the Provence. I'm convinced that you'll be surprised.
The route starts along a long, perfect cycle path on an old railway track to Goult. After Goult with its views on the Mont Ventoux and Gordes, we head for Lacoste, a medieval town dominated by an impressive castle. We continue further up to Bonnieux, a charming market town.
Beyond Bonnieux we enter the Lubéron mountains, where can discover the ruins of an old citadel. (The detour to the citadel is not suited for race cycles) We head back to Apt along quiet mountain roads and the hamlet of Buoux.
Take your time, not just for cycling, but also for enjoying.
