Day 5 Cycling Friends Wormer. This loop is 105 km. There is a decent incline of 2.5 km that hurts the legs. From km 47, it goes slowly but steadily uphill with an average of 3%. Once we reach the start of Tourmalet, we will be climbing for 29 km. The hardest section is near the village of Mongie. At the top of Tourmalet, it is cold and foggy. We enjoy cocoa and get ready for the descent to Luz Saint Sauveur. Oh, almost forgot, we will briefly climb to Sazos as dessert. Tomorrow, the ultimate stage is on the agenda.
