The Méditerranée à Vélo cycle route is the French part of the EuroVelo 8 greater itinerary. In France, it connects Spain to Italy, the Pyrenees to the Alps. The first stretch uses the Pirinexus, a Catalan Pyrenean route, joining then Southern part of the Mediterranean Cycle Route. Then, you alternate between mountains, seasides, lakes and canals, discovering at the same time a rich historic heritage.
