The route starts near Entrevaux and is done clockwise.
You first cycle through the Gorges de Daluis (river side), then you climb the Col de Valberg (1672 m) via Péone, then you descend almost 30 km, partly through the Gorges de Cians (Upper Gorges of Cians and Lower Gorges of Cians). Through the Var valley you pedal (upstream) again towards Entrevaux.
