'Probably the most attractive village in Kent ' Linton calls itself, and that is truly just a little bit exaggerated. From the terrace of the Bull Inn you look out over a vast landscape of hills, orchards and a winding river: this the mythical Weald. You best start the 6.5 km long walk here. First you hike the Greensand ridge, while you continue admiring the panoramic view for a long time. Then you descend into the valley, past the orchards and the Kentish farms with typical kiln chimneys. Through the fruit trees you slowly climb back to the church of Linton, showing itself nicer and nicer. Please end your walk with a beer on the terrace of The Bull Inn.
