The Greeks like to boast with the fact that the Vikos Gorge is relatively the deepest gorge in the world (when the ratio of the height and width is taken into account). Even without such statistics, a visit to the canyon is a must. Not such a good idea though if you have fear of heights, because some parts of the trail are just a few meters wide.
