A rockfall of the limestone cliff forms a natural arch here. By the way, that natural rock arch cannot be seen on "old" video footage from a few years ago. This is probably a recently formed pile of rocks linked to rock fall of the cliff coast during an earthquake. The major earthquake of 2015 is probably the cause. Rock arches or natural arches such as this are geomorphologically very unstable. They are bound to collapse in "near geological times". In this case, the arch is caused by rockfall from the cliff. You will notice that the construction of the arch is made of individual rock boulders. So it's different from the famous weather-eroded arches you know from e.g. Arches National Park in the US. But it is similar to another natural arch on the island: the natural arch of the waterfall of Dimosari.
