Bunratty (Irish: Bun na Raits, meaning "End of the River Raits") is a parish in County Clare, Ireland, and a small village of the same name. The village is next to a major tourist attraction, Bunratty Castle, on the N18 that connects Limerick to Galway. The River Ratty/Raits defines the eastern boundary of the parish, and flows into the Shannon, the southern boundary. A walk through the folk park teaches the visitor everything about the houses and their surroundings from more than a century ago. Rural farms, Bunratty Castle, a village street, Bunratty House with its Regency garden etc.
