The countless Sangiovese vines on your left and right have been producing part of the grapes for the production of Chianti Rufina DOCG since 1716. The vineyards of Rufina itself, Pontassieve, Londa, Dicomano, and Pelago also belong to this 12,500-hectare vineyard area. Pomino is considered one of the four most important Tuscan zones for winemaking.
