The stable of San Lazzaro is attached to the villa San Lazzaro. It was the former hospital of Santa Maria della Scala in the fourteenth century. It was probably built in the mid-nineteenth century as a stable for horses. The first room was used as a shelter for horse-drawn carriage and harness, while the back room as a stable for horses. Here you can still see the structure of the manger. The upper floor was used as storage for hay and straw that were passed downstairs through the trapdoor that still exists. The building was renovated in 2003 by architect Fabio Massimo "Rust" Rossi and is now used as a seat of Scoutit snc.
