This church is located a bit outside the core of the old town, on the road to the Pota San Jacopo.
Founded in 1337, the church has undergone renovations, especially in the single-aisled interior, at different times and even at the beginning of the 20th century.
On the main altar is a beautiful panel painting by Vincenzo Tamagni, signed and dated 1522, depicting the Madonna and Child, Saint John Gualbert, Saint John the Baptist, Saint Benedict and Saint Jerome.
The funerary monument with the bust of Sister Fidamonte Malenotti, who died in 1932, is valuable.
In the 18th century, when the church of San Jacopo al Tempio across the road became part of the monastery's possessions, a masonry viaduct was built to allow the nuns to cross the road without being seen by anyone.
