The church of Sant'Isidoro Agricola , built in 1666 on the house where the Blessed One was born, was, like that of Sant'Alberto, already closed in the late 1930s.
Small only in appearance, because the interior hides valuable artifacts and materials.
The church was reopened in 2010 . This became possible thanks to it the "Mountain of the Lord" project . This is a project to restore the artistic heritage of the city of Erice. A small contribution asked from visitors in the form of a card made it possible to save the centuries-old churches.
