The Church of the Guardian Angel was opened to the public in 1701.
In the following years the congregation decided to build a larger church on top of the existing one , so the original rooms were converted into a crypt.
The building is spread over two levels, closed at the bottom by a gate bordered by two stairs leading to the upper room. There is a large room with a vaulted roof: the old church and the current crypt of the brotherhood. The church has a single-nave architectural structure, with five altars. At the entrance there is a wooden choir attic in a mixed style between rococo and neoclassical.
