Bourscheid Castle probably originated in the 10th century, but the first documentation dates back to 1095. During extensive expansion work in the 14th and 15th centuries, it was provided with a defensive wall featuring 6 Gothic towers. The government purchased this castle ruin, which had been abandoned in the 19th century, and made it accessible to the public. The Stolzemburg House is a valuable Gothic mansion from 1348. A small museum has been set up here, telling the history of the castle and the lords of Bourscheid. In this context, the cultural weeks of Bourscheid also take place. Illuminated every night until midnight.
