The Clerve is a river in the north of Luxembourg (Ösling) that springs from Huldange (Huldange) at an elevation of 530 meters above sea level. There it is called Woltz. The river retains this name until it flows into Clerve (Clervaux), after which it is named Clerve. It flows into the Wiltz in Kautenbach at an elevation of 250 meters above sea level.

The Luxembourg Northern Railway follows the river between Troisvierges and Kautenbach. The route is now exclusively used for passenger trains running every hour between Troisvierges and the city of Luxembourg. Trains to Belgium and Liège run every two hours.
In Troisvierges, an educational route leads to the wetland area Cornelys Millen. The "Sentier des Passeurs" follows an escape route that was used from 1943 to smuggle Luxembourgian conscripts to Belgium.
The largest and most interesting place is Clervaux with its castle and the Family of Man.
In the Kiischpelt, the water of the river drives the "Rackés Millen" into the village of Enscherange. This is the only still operating watermill in the Ösling. The village of Lellingen, with its old farms and daffodils, is also worth seeing.
The most beautiful part of the valley lies between Lellingen and Kautenbach. Here the valley narrows into a jagged valley with river terraces and distinctive valley meanders. Aside from the railway line, there are only footpaths and a cycle path.
A nature path leads from Kautenbach up to the Hockslay and to the lookout tower (with a good panoramic view of the Ösling with its plateaus and deep valleys).
Along the river's course, you will find numerous remnants of the former meadow irrigation, referred to here as "Fléizen".
