Tufa Spring - Tuff Spring
At the tufa spring in the valley of the Black Ernz, crystal clear calcium-rich water flows over a ledge into a basin. The colors of the water and the rocks, along with the diversity of moss species, are very impressive.
This beautiful location is best accessed via the local hike W7 (10.2 km), starting in Heringer Millen, or via Route 3 of the Mullerthal Trail. Before reaching the spring, you will walk over 600 meters of wooden walkways that lead along the Black Ernz and cross it several times.
