The Dark Wolf

"The fortress Pappa Gung on the marsh,

At the houses with meandering knots
Went the Dark Wolf.

In the Wolf's skin the certain key
And Herez fuller goodness, the Lousen;
He laughs, despite great teeth,
All children from Baaschtneck to Housen
With slingshots, pears, and nuts
Around the Dark Wolf.

To the housewife, she washes in the corner,
She kicks around the colas and snaps
And bites into bacon;
And as he then continues to stroll,
There laughs at the beard the monkey;
Oh you Dark Wolf!

You all too, who scamper through the land
And think, no one is behind you,
They bind, keep behind the wall out,
Around another lead their children;
Beware, you all are known
Like the Dark Wolf.
