The Oostrum watermill or Campsmolen is a disappeared watermill, located at Buitenhof 2 in Oostrum. The watermill was situated on the Oostrumse Beek on the south side of the village. The mill was also called Campsmolen, referring to the Camps family who owned the mill and the nearby farm for centuries. The mill was the upper mill on the brook, the lower mill was the Rosmolen. Only in wet seasons did the mill have enough water, thus it is a winter mill. The last miller used a grinding chair with a gas engine to hydraulic power in order to have enough capacity to mill.
