The visitors' center consists of several atmospheric buildings, connected by an ancient street. There are 2 walking paths, the boardwalk path of 1 km and the boot path of 3.5 km. From Visitors' Center De Wieden, you can excellently explore the area. From April to October, there is a wide range of boating excursions available.
For all boating options, visit www.natuurmonumenten.nl/agenda. In 2009, anyone who is 75 years old can join a boat excursion from Natuurmonumenten for free, upon presentation of identification.
