Presumably, the construction of the church began in 1220. Many years later, the Siege of 's-Hertogenbosch followed. After the fall of the Spanish fortress 's-Hertogenbosch, the first Reformed service in the Sint-Jan was held on Wednesday, September 19, 1629. An important moment for the residents of 's-Hertogenbosch. Various significant events have taken place in this church, such as the delegation from Napoleon Bonaparte, the fire in 1584, and the many restorations that have preserved the church in its current state. You can visit this centuries-old church and even climb it. The museum takes you through the years of its origin and presents unprecedented archaeological discoveries.
