The memorial "Ambonese Grove" is located in the Carel Coenraadpolder against the Deltadijk. The poplar grove was created after the demolition of the barracks, where about 300 Ambonese people lived from 1953 to 1961. Previously, there was a DUW labor camp, a German military installation, and a prison for NSB members.
