The Saint Peter's Church dates back to 990! At that time, a tuff stone church was built here. The current (Gothic) church and tower date from around 1300. The church has a tower that is 74.5 meters high, which you may climb.
In the Beekse Tower (of the Saint Peter's Church) lies the book Origines Antwerpianae in which Jan van Gorp has elaborated on his theory of Becanus.
