There was a lot to do about The Blue Arches at the time, but it is now an unmistakable part of Dalfsen's image. The artist has deliberately chosen this bright blue color because it is the only color that is clearly visible against our skies in the Netherlands, with the strongly changing seasons. In the evening it is illuminated with neon at the top. The height of the arches is 2.43 and 3.19 meters.
