Winery Elanova was developed on the former livestock farm of the Maalderink family. Until 1992, the family kept dairy cattle, breeding bulls, and pigs. After that, the land was cultivated with potatoes and corn. In 2007, the business was sold to the Roth family. In early May 2009, we planted nearly 6000 cuttings, and on May 23, the "first poles were installed." Due to the beautiful surroundings, the use of wooden poles was a conscious choice. These are English chestnut wood. About 1500 poles have been used along which approximately 50 km of grape wire has been stretched to guide the grape plants in the right growth.
