Greonterp is a small village in Súdwest-Fryslân municipality in the province of Friesland, the Netherlands. It had a population of around 85 in January 2017.The village was first mentioned in the 13th century as Grewingdorp. The etymology is unclear. Greonterp is a terp village from the early middle ages. It was located between lakes. The lake Sensmeer was poldered in 1633, however the village remained isolated. Later a small road was built to Blauwhuis on which the village was dependent.
