Ealahuizen is a small village in De Fryske Marren municipality in the province of Friesland, the Netherlands. It is located on the banks of the Fluessen and had a population of around 345 in 2017.The village was first mentioned in 1412 as Elahuysen, and means "settlement of Ele ". The original settlement was flooded in the Fluessen around 1700, and only a handful of farms and houses on the dike remained.
