The Work on the Groeneweg was built between 1914 and 1918, to defend the fort at Honswijk. The infantry position consists of a double trench with earthen ramparts and 55 group shelters. Most of them are single-shooter posts. The somewhat larger pyramid-shaped bunkers, built 1939-1940, are group shelters.
