Originally, the Caecilia Chapel was part of the women's convent, which was founded in 1496. The ship also dates from that time. The choir was renovated in the 16th century. It has a striking natural stone gutter and a net vault with hanging keystones.
The Saint Caecilia Chapel in which the Lutherans worshipped from the mid-eighteenth century dates from the middle of the fifteenth century and belonged to the former Augustinian monastery. From 1810 onwards, the Reformed gained ownership of the church, with the stipulation that the Lutherans could also reside there. After the war, the church was held in a temporary building for a while, but in 1949 the chapel was restored.
