The Kroonvense Heide is, together with De Pals, an area of 508 ha south of Bladel, which mainly consists of coniferous forest. This was planted in the early 20th century on former heathland, which was partially converted into agricultural land and partially into production forest.
In the far east of this area flows the Aa or Goorloop. Here, there is a sand trap in the form of a small dammed pond. In the vicinity of the river, there is also deciduous forest to be found.
