Description

In the Lutterzand there were many summer houses. These were ideally suited to accommodate people in hiding. The wooded and remote surroundings made it difficult for the Germans to track down the people in hiding. In addition to the many people in hiding, pilots who had been able to leave their tipsy plane in time were also temporarily housed in one of the summer houses. From here they were led to freedom via the various pilot lines in order to be able to participate in combat again.
