This monument on the Dutch Military Field of Honour Grebbeberg commemorates the soldiers who died in May 1940, the location of which is unknown. Among these names are also names of Dutch soldiers whose graves have been cleared for whatever reason. Dutch war graves may not normally be cleared, but they may be moved to the cemetery in Loenen or the Grebbeberg. Unfortunately, mistakes have been made in the past and graves of soldiers have been cleared.
