De Haere is a hamlet in the Dutch municipality of Apeldoorn, located in the province of Gelderland. It lies to the north of Apeldoorn between Wenum-Wiesel and Vaassen.
In De Haere, there is a large caravan site and a former industrial area. Since the year 2000, the residents have been involved in various legal disputes with the municipality of Apeldoorn and the province of Gelderland over a zoning plan. This included, among other things, a large-scale soil remediation of the industrial area, and the camp residents feared that harmful substances, such as asbestos, would be released in the process.
